ATPL Instructor-Led Training — FAQs

1-to-1 ATPL revision is just you and the instructor — every minute is spent on the topics, calculations and exam techniques you specifically need to work on. Group revision sessions are small (capped to keep everyone engaged) and follow a structured agenda across a subject or topic, so you benefit from other students' questions as well as your own. 1-to-1 is the right call if you have specific weak areas or a fast-approaching exam; group is more cost-effective and works well if you're building general subject confidence.

All 13 EASA and UK CAA ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge subjects: Air Law, Operational Procedures, Aircraft General Knowledge (AGK), Instrumentation, Mass and Balance, Performance, Flight Planning and Monitoring, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology, General Navigation, Radio Navigation, Principles of Flight and Communications. We can also run dedicated sessions on KSA 100 preparation. Tell us which subjects or topics you want to focus on when you book and we'll match you with the right instructor.

Sessions are typically booked in 1-hour blocks for 1-to-1, with longer 2- or 3-hour slots for group revision and intensive subject deep-dives. You can purchase ATPL online revision time from the evoATPL Shop, then book your slot with an instructor by email once your order is confirmed. Most students get their first session booked within 48 hours of purchase.

No. The evoATPL instructor-led training is open to any student pilot preparing for EASA or UK CAA ATPL theory exams, whether you're currently enrolled with an Approved Training Organisation, between sittings, working on re-sits, or self-studying. If you are with an ATO, your instructor will work alongside — not in conflict with — your existing training.
